About Us
A married couple that enjoys to travel, experiencing new adventures and eating different types of foods (as seen by our foodie photos).
Our cultural roots are from Asia (Philippines and China-Malaysia) but spent most of our lives growing up in Melbourne, Australia.
One day we decided that whilst Melbourne holds the title of 'most liveable city' many times over; it was time for us to spread our wings and experience living overseas.
But as we made new acquaintances through work, on tours in Europe and through the thriving expat community - we now want a more public way of sharing our personal experiences and in return being inspired by others.
The global travel addicted community is an extensive, rich mix of personalities that we have engaged with via forums and review sites. This website becomes our way of sharing our cultural stamp collection to the world.

Timeline of our travels
In March 2011 we left our family and friends in Australia for a new life in London, UK. Our goals were focused around travelling and embracing new cultural experiences in all the places we visited.
All the countries we have visited are listed on our "Travel Map" page.
For the most part we achieved our goal and ticked off a long list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites that you can see on our "Lists" page.
In August 2015 we left London and embarked on an almost 5 month extended holiday around the world that included 25 countries across 5 continents - hence the blog category and page: "#5in5months".
Now we are back in Melbourne Australia, still travelling domestically and reconnecting with family and friends. We hope to expand our "Oceania" page with details of travels in Australia and the Pacific.

What this blog means to us
Our blog started off as a private journal for our loved ones at home to keep tabs on what we had been doing - the restaurants visited, UNESCO sites ticked off and to gain reassurance that we were settling in OK to our new surroundings. But as we made new acquaintances through work, on tours in Europe and through the thriving expat community - we now want a more public way of sharing our personal experiences and in return being inspired by others.
